We start the 2nd half and TORQUAY were jumping for joy, DORKING kick – off a bit of ‘you to me ,me to oops sorry’ the ball passed back inside on the half way line and TORQUAY rampage forward ,Back tracking left a lot to be desired but finally the ball is in the area and ‘marshal’ LAPSLIE pops the visitors in front on 46 mins. A groan echo’s around the ground then in comes the not ‘so good looking’ a minute later TORQUAY player EVANS does a second bookable on FRANCOMB and ref HALLAM dictate’s the out come. It wasn’t only the crowd with a glit in their eye’s !! A BIT HARSH but a bookable. This brings a change of personnel for TORQUAY its WYATT on for FADAHUNSI 52 mins .Then DORKING change HARRIS & BRIGG’S off MUITT & OTTAWAY on 53 mins .MUITT begins to exploit spaces and although defender MARSHALL looked very calm and in control at the back ,you could sense a touch at un-ease, and he was un-able to shuffle across to cover the full back. A zip down the line and a delightful cross met the rising OTTAWAY who dispatched the header into the intended target 2 each and all to play for. The TORQUAY faithful who were sending their love to ref HALLAM ( i think that’s what it was ) in calling every decision. TORQUAY back to set plays again, but to be honest with 10 men what can you do ?
